On Sunday May 10th 2015, all mothers will be honored for the love and guidance they have given to their children. It is a day to be with those who are still with use, and remember those who
were once by our side.
I can truly say majority of my purpose and pursuit in life stemmed from my mom. They show you what to do, what not to do, and most importantly they let you learn it yourself and by experience.
These are some fun facts about moms:
Diaper Changes: 7,300 by baby’s 2nd birthday
Diaper Changing Speed: Moms take 2 minutes, 5 seconds (adds up to 40-hour work weekly!)
Taking Care: Preschooler moms spend 2.7 hrs / day on primary childcare
As you can see they “invest time” to make sure that we do well and are taken care of.
It is only fair to do the same for them if that time comes in their later years.
With some parents they are okay and pretty independent, with others, unfortunately,
they decline and need that extra help and care to get through the day.
Just remember what they have done for you and the person you are today because of that.
